About BrainRush
BrainRush offers memory, reaction, logic, mathematics, attention and pattern challenges, Daily Challenges, and game progress features. Brain Scores and other results describe performance in these game challenges. They are not medical, clinical or IQ assessments.
You do not need to create a BrainRush account. The app has no BrainRush registration or login system and does not ask you to enter your name, email address, phone number or date of birth to play. Google Play services may use your separate Google account for purchases and other Google functions.
Information handled locally by BrainRush, information processed by Google services, and information you deliberately share are described separately below.
Information processed locally by BrainRush
BrainRush processes your challenge responses and performance to run the game and calculate results. It stores the following in private application storage on your device:
- Scores and challenge results, including category, difficulty, success, accuracy, reaction time where applicable, summaries and completion timestamps.
- Recent challenge history and statistics, including counts, averages, best results and recent-score charts.
- XP and the statistics used to calculate levels and Brain Score.
- Current and best streaks, Daily Challenge completion dates and completion counts.
- Achievement progress and unlock information.
- Settings such as sound, haptics and appearance, and whether onboarding has been completed.
- Local Premium status, including whether monthly or lifetime access is recorded.
- If review access is activated, a version number and code-verifier marker in separate private storage excluded from standard Android Auto Backup.
These records support gameplay, progress displays, Daily completion tracking, achievements and your preferences. BrainRush has no AndDev-operated server or automatic upload of these training records. Levels and Brain Score are calculated from the stored game data rather than from an identity profile.
The optional Settings → Review access control checks a review code locally to unlock the same training features without a purchase. The entered code is processed temporarily in memory; BrainRush does not save it or automatically send it to a server. Review access is separate from Google Play purchase ownership. While it is active, the app blocks its ad requests and displays; this does not guarantee that installed Google SDKs perform no other processing.
The app also keeps some operational information temporarily in memory, such as session state, ad availability, purchase records and app-event information. Its own event logger does not upload events to an AndDev server. Operational or error messages may be written to Android logs; development builds can include additional debug logging. Google SDKs have their own data processing, described below.
BrainRush does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, personal photos, SMS, or precise device location to provide its training features. This does not prevent Google advertising services from processing technical information such as an IP address or applicable identifiers.
Google services and advertising
BrainRush includes Google Mobile Ads / AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) and Google Play Billing / Google Play, together with their supporting Google components. These services communicate with Google and may process information beyond the records stored by BrainRush's training features.
Google Mobile Ads / AdMob
Free access can include banner advertisements on Home, Statistics and Profile screens, interstitial advertisements after completed challenges, and rewarded advertisements for an optional advanced-challenge unlock. Ads may be loaded in advance once the app is eligible to request them, including before you choose to watch a rewarded advertisement. An unlock is granted only after the advertising SDK reports that the reward was earned and the ad is dismissed.
Google advertising services may process device and app information, IP addresses and general location inferred from them, advertising or other device identifiers where applicable, ad interactions and technical diagnostics. Processing can support ad delivery, personalization where permitted, measurement, service operation and fraud prevention. The information used depends on the Google service, SDK version, device settings, consent choices and applicable advertising mode.
The app's ad requests and displays require a resolved free-user status and Google consent eligibility. Premium users do not receive advertisements through these app ad placements, and the app blocks them while ownership is unresolved. Premium does not disable Google Play or consent services, or guarantee that installed Google SDKs perform no other processing.
Google handles advertising personalization and applicable consent signals. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily stop every ad request or all technical data processing. Android advertising-ID controls can also affect the availability of that identifier; the options depend on your device.
Read how Google uses information from apps that use its services, Google's advertising privacy information, and the Google Privacy Policy. Google's Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure describes its stated SDK-version scope; it should not be treated as a guarantee about every earlier version or every configuration.
Advertisements may contain links to services operated by advertisers or other providers. If you open those services, their privacy practices apply to that interaction.
Google User Messaging Platform and consent
BrainRush uses UMP to request consent information, display applicable consent forms and determine whether ads can be requested. UMP stores consent choices and related signals and communicates with Google to provide this functionality.
You can use Settings → Manage Advertising Consent to reopen advertising privacy options when Google makes them available. If options are unavailable or a form cannot open, the app displays a message. Forms and choices can depend on your region and the applicable Google configuration. When an update fails, Google's eligibility result can reflect an existing valid choice; an error does not automatically permit ads.
Changing consent can affect future advertising processing. It is not a promise to erase information already held independently by Google or other services. For more information, see Google's UMP information and Google's privacy controls.
Google Play purchases and Premium access
BrainRush offers a monthly Premium subscription and a lifetime Premium purchase through Google Play. Google Play handles payment entry and processing. BrainRush does not receive or store payment-card or bank credentials.
Through Google Play Billing, the app receives purchase and product information, including product IDs, purchase state, a purchase token, order identifier when supplied, and acknowledgement or suspension status. It uses this information to check, grant and restore access and to acknowledge purchases to Google Play. A purchase token is sent to Google Play for acknowledgement; the app has no AndDev backend to which it uploads purchase tokens.
BrainRush saves Premium-status booleans locally. Purchase tokens and order identifiers handled by its own purchase logic are kept in memory rather than saved in its own progress or settings store. Google Play and its SDKs separately handle transaction records and may process technical or diagnostic information under their own policies.
Resetting progress, clearing local storage or uninstalling BrainRush does not cancel a Google Play subscription or remove Google's purchase records. You can manage or cancel a subscription through Google Play. See Google Play subscription management and the Google Privacy Policy.
Information you choose to share or send
If you select Share, BrainRush opens the Android Sharesheet with a message containing your score, challenge category and the app's Google Play link. You choose the receiving app or recipient. That service can store or transmit the message according to its own practices. BrainRush does not automatically publish your results or access your contacts to choose a recipient.
If you email AndDev, you provide your email address and whatever information you include in your message through the email service. This correspondence is separate from the app's local training records and is not removed by resetting or uninstalling BrainRush. Do not send payment credentials or unnecessary sensitive information. Contact us with questions about your correspondence or privacy rights that may apply under your local law.
Retention, reset and deletion controls
BrainRush keeps its latest 100 challenge-result records and its latest 14 scores for recent-score charts. Older results can be removed from those lists while aggregate statistics remain. XP, aggregate statistics, achievements, Daily completion dates, settings and local Premium status have no fixed automatic expiry in the app.
Settings → Reset Training Progress resets local XP, Brain Score, challenge history, statistics, streaks, Daily Challenge history and achievements. There is no in-app undo. It does not delete settings, Google Play purchases or subscriptions, Premium ownership held by Google Play, advertising consent, other SDK-managed information, Google-held records, or existing backup snapshots. It resets the training record; it is not secure erasure of every copy of app information.
Android's clear-storage control or normal uninstall removes the app's current private files, preferences, databases and cache. Google-held records, purchase ownership, messages you shared, device-level service information and previous backups are separate. Premium ownership can be restored from Google Play after reinstalling.
Settings → Review access → Leave review access removes the local activation marker. Reset Training Progress leaves that marker in place. It is valid only for the matching app version and code verifier, so updating to a different version or verifier invalidates access. Its storage is excluded from standard Android Auto Backup; manufacturer-specific device-transfer behavior has not been verified.
Android backup and device-transfer features may copy eligible app data according to the Android version, device configuration and the app's backup rules. The current rules do not separately include the main training and settings stores in standard Android backup. Device-specific transfer behavior and other eligible app data can differ. Do not assume that every app record is backed up, or that resetting or uninstalling deletes earlier backups.
Temporary in-memory app records are normally released when the process ends. Android logs and SDK caches have their own lifecycles. Google and other independent services determine their retention and deletion practices; AndDev does not control or promise a fixed retention period for their records. See Google's retention information and Google's account/privacy controls.
There is no BrainRush account to delete. AndDev cannot retrieve training records stored only on your device or delete information held independently by Google. We can help explain the app's local controls; requests concerning Google-held data should use Google's relevant controls and support channels.
Security
BrainRush uses Android's private application storage for its own persistent training records and settings. These stores are not separately encrypted by BrainRush; protection also depends on Android and your device security. The app does not operate its own remote training-data server.
No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Google services have their own security measures. This policy does not promise that every third-party SDK operation has a particular encryption method or retention period. Keep your device and operating system updated and use appropriate device access controls.
Children and intended audience
BrainRush is intended for older teens and adults. It is not designed or directed specifically to young children and is not marketed as a children's app. It does not provide an age gate or ask for a date of birth. This statement does not set a universal legal age for digital consent.
If you are a parent or guardian with concerns about a child's use or information, contact AndDev. We can explain local removal and consent controls but cannot access device-only training records or erase information independently held by Google. Applicable Google service controls and local legal requirements may also apply.
Changes to this policy
AndDev may update this policy to reflect changes to BrainRush or applicable requirements. The revised policy will show a new last-updated date. The Privacy Policy entry in Settings links to the public policy page. Any additional notice required for a material change will be provided as applicable.
